A&P lets see your macro shots

    been messing with my 60mm 2.8 for about 6 weeks now... I wanna see what everyone else is doing.

    all shot with my 60mm, d80 and except for the black widow, all in available daylight. I just got my d80 a few months ago, so all criticism welcome

    I like most, but the DOF is too shallow in all of them IMO, I'm not a big macro guy but aren't you supposed to shoot at like F/8-F9 ?:dunno:

    You keep me begging to see more detail, which shouldn't be the case in a macro pic.

    No doubt my next purchase is a macro lens. How do you like that lens? I think I'll want more than 60mm :hs:

    I hate black widows. I killed countless at my house in arizona. That first pic is creepy and cool at the same time! :cool:

    Ya the dof seems to be razor thin, even at f22. Im probably doing something wrong though. I do like the lens alot, it also takes nice portraits.

    I killed 13 of them my first 3 days at this house :noes:... then I decided to practice my macro on them..
