I've got a similar stock only darker blue and more black as well as a 20" black fluted gm barrel to build one similar to that for the fiance.

    Anyone rolling one of these?

*eidt* holy jesus huge pic..... Check out the link here.... It's the 10/22 "target/varmint" stock:

    http://www.bellandcarlson.com/Page5.htm

It looks like it might not suck, but I haven't found anyone with one yet. Looks kinda heavy though too, so I'm not sure about it. My gun is nearly an ultralight, and I like it that way. I'm thinking I'd probably have to bump up the contour to maybe a 18" .920 fluted or so to get it to balance, and I'm not sure I want to do that yet.

The 20" GM is gone soon to be replaced by a 20" TacSol.

What have you done to this rifle? Namely the sight.

  15. The sight is a C-More Railway.

    Everything else:
    Hogue Overmold stock
    KIDD trigger
    TacSol barrel
    Urethane bolt buffer
    VQ extractor

The bipod in the pic is a Harris S-BRM, but it kind of floats around to whichever rifle I am using at the moment.

Just your run-of-the-mill 10/22. Has VQ hammer and springs, PC poly buffer, auto bolt release, extended mag release, and a hard edge steel extractor. I also chamfered the bolt myself and it cycles smooth as butter. I think for x-mas I'm going to work the trigger a little better to get rid of the creep and overtravel, and it also deserves a Mueller APV.

I got mine on 10/22, coincidence. Trying out many iron sights but have narrowed it to two, and the box of obligatory 10/22 aftermarket parts waiting to be installed. 50M target.

6-8 weeks for a TacSol barrel oh well, what's the difference between that and a GM barrel?

I really want the receiver they sell... and a KIDD trigger... and a 20" Fluted and threaded barrel... and another Hogue OM stock... and maybe some sort of red-dot...

I want to turn my current rifle in to a lightweight rig then build something heavy and long to put a can on.

  25. Weight. TacSol lists the 16.5" barrel at 15.2oz.
