    It looks like we're getting a lot of repeat random questions that aren't what should I eat or how do I lift. So let's make an index of random shit.

    #1 Go to a fucking doctor. OT is full of retards who don't know your particular situation.


    Shin Splints that pain in your shins after running, basketball, badmitten, etc.

    If you have shin splints try the following:
    • Go to a running shoe specific store such as fleetfeet.com where they tape you running on a treadmill. This costs nothing and they can select an appropriate running shoe based on your stride and arch, most likely a stability shoe to stop your over pronation. This completely cured my lifelong shin sprint problem instantly. Then replace your shoes regularly.
    • Ice the areas that hurt post workout to flush out the lactic acid and improve recovery. A popular way to do this stick some dixie cups full of water in the freezer. You can peel the dixie cup back as needed.
    • Perform a warm-up, then stretch before and after workout
    • Strengthen the shin by doing exercises that involve lifting the toes
    • Take a break from running
    • Lose weight (hard to do if you can't run)
