    I've recently come in to a job that pays a bit more than before allowing me to spend more on camera accessories :o

    I'm looking to see what you guys would recommend for a good wide angle lens and macro lens. For the wide angle I am looking for something that I can put on the camera and just leave on and walk around with. Something that would be good in multiple situations.

    This is for a Canon XSI. :wavey:

    ultra wide = Canon 10-22mm, Tokina 11-16 2.8, Sigma 10-20

    The sigma is the cheapest and has no other advantage, the Tokina is the fastest and sharpest but has the smallest focal range, the canon is sharper than the Sigma and has a little more reach, but is most expensive.

    macro = Tamron 90mm

    Thanks for the input, it's a tough choice since there is so much available.

    I bypassed the Tamron 17-50 and got the Canon 17-55. I think it was a very good desicion and a great investment

    great info right there for UWA. For just wide angle, the tamron 17-50 is probably one of the best buys right now.
