I'm in need of some sort of lens cleaning kit or product. I'm not talking about internally, just the surface of the lens.

What do you all use or recommend?

I use microfiber glass cloths and brillianize

    http://www.brillianize.com/

I've used it for years in my part time car detailing business for glass and plastic parts, and it was the ONLY thing I could find that left the interior of a windshield perfectly streak free under any light source....

It leaves the cleanest, smoothest surface you can imagine, and it's supposed to have some anti-static properties that help with keeping the dust off. I'm anal about the condition of my glass, so i've never let it go long enough to see if it works.

But I carry a small bottle and a bunch of microfibers in my camera bag, and typically wipe down the whole camera, rear lcd and front and rear lens elements before and after every shoot.

    shit still looks brand new.

Wow I guess I should have guessed that people would have varying opinions :p.

Thanks for the suggestions. I guess I really should have filters, if for nothing just protection, but...

    Thanks guys.
