Legs 2x/week = too often?

    So yeah, I do legs twice a week(not westside light/heavy) with basically the same routine each time(heavy squats, nglr's). Should I change it up to a light/heavy break or just keep it like this. I'm not really sore by the time the next day rolls around so :dunno:

    Right now legs are Tuesday/Friday with chest/back being Monday/Thursday.

    I don't think so. I switch it up and hit legs more when I'm bulking. Less when I'm doing more cardio because DOMs hinders me.

    whats you volume like?

    No, its not too much, depending on the volume you do. One very well accepted routines (Bill Starr/Christophers) has legs all 3 days (2nd day is light though), and uses a 5x5 rep scheme with increasing weights every set.

    Volume is 4-5 work sets of squats, 3-4 natural ghr's, and maybe a few sets of leg press if I haven't hurt myself by then. No calf work though.

    Several Low Volume routines work the legs 3 days a week. Most OL'ers and PL'ers I know do this as well and it seems to work for them...

    I only do legs once per week. During the summer months, I enjoy working outdoors and therefore do more cardio, which burns my legs out. Come winter months (November - February) I do legs, upper, and cardio each twice a week.
