Anyone catch the new Legion of Superheroes and The Batman?

They're gonna have the Spectacular Spiderman in March. Marvel and DC on the same channel and not Fox? hmmm...

DVR ftw. I'm not waking up early for cartoons on a Saturday. I can also skip kid cereal commercials. And my girlfriend does think I'm 12.

are the DC ones anything like Justice League (Unlimited) or the old 90s Batman/Superman cartoons? or have they been kiddified to hell?

is the Spidey cartoon gonna be CGI (like that MTV series) or traditional animation? i also heard of a new X-Men cartoon w/ Wolverine leading the team like a year ago. do you know anything about that?

i haven't watched any cartoons since JLU ended so i'm kinda out of the loop.

I used to watch all those cartoons in the morning as a kid. Now when I catch them (ie: didn go to sleep) they pretty much suck :(

There's a Justice League in The Batman now with the Flash, green arrow, hawkman, green lantern, and superman. The show itself isn't that great. They've kidified themselves but it's still a little dark I think.

The Spectacular spiderman is more of a traditional animation show but I can't entirely say for sure because CGI is so advanced now.

They didn't have any commercials on CW about the new xmen show to my knowledge. It might be on fox but I doubt it since the old Xmen show was on the WB and the new spiderman show is scheduled to be on CW. Fox is dying...

you mean on legion of superheroes?
i thought it was mentioned that they clone the original superman with additional powers, while the other was sent back to almost the exact time he left smallville in order to help the legion

The theme song shows an older superman rejoining him along with the future cloned superman.

    just saw it:eek3:

and yeah, this wanna be anime is getting kinda old
i didn't like teen titans, but i gave legion a shot (i thought they were going to put supergirl there-since in jlu she decided to stay with brainiac13).

watching 'the batman', i half expect to see jackie come out with toru and UNCLE fighting off bane and the joker, with jade getting fighting robin.

god i miss beast wars. it might just be me having grown up a bit, but IMO JLU was the last good cartoon to come out. it had simple yet good animation that didnt try to pass itself off as some wannabe anime. all the other cartoons they come out with nowadays is crap.

    jl/jlu was good
but batman tas was 100% better (superman tas was kinda lame with few exceptions)
i'm just glad they kept batman the same (and to a certain extent batman beyond)
