    Mon - Legs
    4 sets leg ext 10-15reps
    4 sets squat 6-10 reps
3 sets leg press 10-12 reps
    4 sets leg curl 10-12reps
3 set db stiff legged or walking lunges

the leg curls don't do shit for me, i never seem to feel like i'm exhausting the muscles, what are some good exercises to substitute leg curls with, keeping in mind i do the above leg routine.

also, this morning in the stretching room this girl was in a competition swimsuit practicing her poses, she wasn't swole but very very fit, it was a nice way to start my morning workout ^_^

    go heavier?

or try skipping them one day to see how much you squat to see if you are really pre-exhausting them or not

What type of leg curls are you doing? Seated, lying, standing? It completely changes the movement.

    .

Hack squats seem to work for me as well. Have you tried doing 30-45 second breaks in between sets of curls? Usually if I do 4x12 with very short rests inbetween I have a hard time standing back up afterwards.

good suggestion but i fucking hate deadlifts. bearing load strait down on a fully extended elbow never turns out good for me.

i found a leg curl machine at the gym that works a lot better. A bit of a puzzle though... on the machine it said something about no more than 25lbs... as i think about it now, surely it means you can use more weight and only the largest plate is the 25lbs one...

well I rarely do leg curls but I don't see HOW you cannot feel them in your hamstrings... it's a freakin hamstring iso exercise

Anyway, I usually do goodmorning's or RDL's as my hamstring exercise but I don't really "feel it" in my hamstrings while I'm doing them.. they usually exhaust my core before my hams.

F&Ners are too egotistical for humbling exercises

I tried them and could not balance enough on my right leg despite trying for 5 mins. :o I got a couple sets in with my left leg pretty easily. Gotta build up my balance.

the kneeling one had me like that, it works infinitely better than seated or standing curls, at least for me anyway.

Asymmetry is one of the best predictors for injury. It's better to be weak and symmetrical than to be strong and asymmetrical.
