    I use to lift last year but life caught up to me..bought a house, got married, work became stressfull...the whole 9 yards, so I stopped...kept playing sports, but lifting didn't fit in the schedule

    decided to start training for a sprint tri, started going to the gym and lifting after cardio...and I realized I enjoy lifting a shitload more then I enjoy cardio :naughty:

    we're gonna go with the my old routine (below), keep eating clean (we've been eating clean for roughly 3-4 month), not planning on counting calories to the T, since we don't like that lifestyle, just plan on eating clean foods, and make sure we get lots of protein...we both already feel better since we started and both lost a few pounds

    our plan is cardio for 1/2 hour to an hour, then lifting...I know it's a nono in most program, but we enjoy doing that, and plan on making it work

    Today was the first day of the routine:

    -we both did swimming 1 hour...then lifted:

    Tony:
    Leg Press: 270*6, 270*6
    Squats : 2x(135*6), 145*6
    Calf Raise: 170*6, 180*6
    Seated Calf Raise: 80*6, 80*6

    Vi:
    Leg Press: 90*6, 90*6
    Squat: 95*6, 95*6
    Calf Raise: 4x(130*6)
    Did not do seated calf raise due to knee pains



    my routine:

    weighted decline situp
    hanging knee raise

    Current stats:

    Weight: 180-183
    BF%: 16-17%...measured using calipers

    Tuesday:
    =====

    Ended up having a hockey game tonight, and was suppose to meet up with a friend at the pool

    so I swam for an hour and a half, then played hockey for an hour...I don't think I've ever been this exhausted in my life, but it was fun

    food eaten for the day:

    breakfeast (I know it sucks, bad, my protein shaker is broken and I have one coming in tomm or day after):
    -cup of green tea with 1 packet of sweetner
    -1 piece of whole wheat toast with 95% fat free cream cheese

    lunch:
    -4 pieces of light rye toasted
    -some sausage
    -two handful of baby carrots
    -1 can of coke

    between lunch and dinner:
    had about 3 cups of tea

    dinner:
    -2 average sized pieces of chicken breast with a bit of bbq sauce on the side
    -vegetables and white rice on the side
    -1 cup of pepsi

    post hockey:
    -endurox r4
    -lots of water

    last night decided to rest, fell asleep very very early, I was just exhausted

    food intake:

    breakfeast:
    1 piece of whole wheat toast
    very little (maybe 1.5 tblspons) of light cream cheese
    nestea fruit flavor mix thing

    lunch:
    4 pieces of rye bread
    fat free chicken breast
    baby carrots
    small container of fat+sugar free jello (10 calories)

    dinner:
    plate of tabouli
    3 medium sized pieces of chicken
    a handful and a half of fries (home made potatoes, fresh oil)

    evening:
    2 scoop with milk ON double chocolate whey

    today:
    ======
    today did 1 hour of swimming with the wife, very casual, was trying to show her a stroke, and she was having a hard time getting the breathing right...did roughly 10 laps if that...the rest was just casual

    then hit the gym, the weights as follow:

    Tony's:
    Decline DB press: 40*10, 45*6, 45*5
    Incline Press: 95*7, 105*6
    Cable Pushdowns: 20*10, 30*7, 30*6 (2 pulley one)
    Seated weighted situp: 90*10, 90*8, 100*9

    Vivi's:
    Decline DB press: 10*10, 10*10, 15*8 (first time doing them, couldn't get form right, kept weight low)
    Incline Press: 45*7, 45*7, 45*6
    Cable Pushdowns: 10*6, 10*7, 10*7
    Seated weighted situp: 50*7, 50*7, 50*10

    Today's Diet:

    Woke up at 3:30am...cause I went to bed so early:
    1 cup of milk with two handful of corn flakes, 1 small spoon of sugar
    ate, watched southpark, went back to bed


    Morning:
    2 ON whey scoops with 12OZ 2% milk

    Lunch (and it was horrible...I know ):
    2 junior whopper's
    1 small fries
    1 can of pepsi

    had lots of water throughout the day

    Dinner:
    3 pieces of salmon, rated @ 140 calories each
    white rice
    sauteed mushrooms
    1 cup of pepsi

    post workout:
    2 scoops ON whey with 12OZ 2% milk, and 5g of creatine mono

    Been busy all weekend, decided to renovate the house..but breakdown as best as I remeber as follow:


    friday:
    =====
    forgot my protein at home :(
    1/2 a bagel with light philly cheese
    and water with nestea mix

    lunch:
    shawarma plate
    a handful of spagetti and a homemade sauce with some meat
    a brownie :noes:
    a can of pop

    dinner:
    don't recall

    later in the evening:
    ON 2 scoops with 2% milk and 5g of creatine

    played hockey for an hour

    went to moms place, she fried some fish

    woke up late and lots of running around to do, so my food intake is messed

    breakfeast:
    large double double coffee from timmies
    3/4 of a ham and swiss sandwish from timmies

    lunch: pizza (did not want to stop workign to make something, and needed something quick)
    2 cans of pop

    dinner: none, just had a protein shake (2 scoops ON with 2% milk)

    excersise: renovations have commenced, and food took a kick in the ass, will try to eat better in the future

    lunch:
    Nate's club sandwish
    Ceasar salad
    can of pop

    Dinner:



    plan on swimming 1 hour and then doing arms + back
