Hey guys, I want to start building some pages and sites and wondered if anybody had any recommendations on good books or sites to learn how to build them or to learn HTML.

I would also check out some books. I read Head First CSS/XHTML then read the Sitepoint CSS Anthology.

From there I took what I knew and started using Dreamweaver, you are much better knowing how to code from hand some then moving to DW than just opening up DW and going at it without a clue wtf is going on behind the scenes.
