    Besides here, can anyone suggest some good online sources for discovering this whole new world beyond point and shoot?

    Read the e-books provided in the stickies and get as much experience just shooting and learning how your camera works--if you have the talent, you'll slowly internalize the qualities that makes a well-composed photograph.

    Then just click on the camera you have. It only has the DSLR cameras. It still has the D70 on the page too
