Saw this for sale locally, good deal?

For sale is a very nice Hungarian SA-85 built from a hand selected kit and a Nodak reciever. Kit was purchased from Centerfire Sytems back when they were bountiful (circa 2004) I have shaved the ears of the bayo lug and the muzzle brake is welded to the barrel in 3 spots for AWB compliance. The gun is duracoated in HK black and the original furnture has not been touched.

    $700 Shipped to your FFL.

Any reputable sites where i can begin to learn about ak's seems as though there are too many variants.

    way to expensive.

if you wanna learn about all the types and countries origins, take a few minutes and read this thread its amazing what the search can do :fawk:

look around local shops, gun shows and keep your eye out online. with price gouging i have no clue what a good deal is at the moment, but with some common sense you'll be able to figure it out pretty quickly what a good deal is. what you posted is not :ugh:

heres info on the reciever types which is the first thing i was instructed to look at when purchasing an ak, so im passing that info onto you link thats taken from ak-47.net which is a great general site for ak's hence the name :mamoru: snoop around sites like this and the ones ca27 mentioned and you should be able to answer alot of your questions yourself pretty soon
