I just picked up my first flat panel desktop monitor (samsung 19"). And so far its a great monitor, no dead pixels, fast 8ms response. Though it does have a little backlight bleedthrough noticeable when the screen is black.

my question is: does backlight bleedthrough get better/worse overtime or will it remain the same throughout the monitors life?

    thanks!

it's the 910mp, it has a built-in tv tuner w/pip which is cool. doesn't have a DVI input though, but niether does my vid card and I don't see the need to upgrade my vid card in the near future, so me don't really care.
