I can't find anything on Google.

What is the main difference between Gray-to-gray and White-black-white?

Basically, I'm having trouble deciding between these two monitors:

    ViewSonic VP201s Silver 20.1" 16ms LCD Monitor

    ViewSonic VX924 Black/Silver 19" 3ms gray-to-gray (avg.); 6ms white-black-white (typ)' LCD Monitor

I would go for the 19", it's cheaper overall, and has a lower response rate, however... I've been using 1600x1200 for a very long time and jumping down to 1280x1024 would be a serious commitment.

    Let me know your opinions.

When I play games, I play them at lower resolution. Would having a monitor like 1600x1200 affect the image of the game?

I know I couln't possibly use something lower than 1600x1200 at home. That's the only reason I went with CRTs rather than LCDs last time I bought monitors - LCDs that do 1600x1200 are still too expensive for me.

Yeah, the resolution thing is bugging me. I'm out of desk space, I'm tired of this bulky 17" CRT. I've had it since 98.

Think I'll go with the 20.1" viewsonic :hs:

Judging by the other Viewsonic LCD's I've seen, you won't be a bit disappointed with that. They make some nice monitors.

Now, if they can just bring the price on those down to $300, I'll be set.
