    old 20's might fit dont think a 30 will cause of the curve.

    well it doesnt fit in my ar. the mag has a lip on the back so it only fits in one way. maybe its diff on the m16.

    you could put it the other way and just not chamber one if you were that worried. It would be quicker to rack a bolt

    Those have a safety switch too, I would think if he was really worried, the faster you get to it and have it ready to fire the better

    thats what i was thinking but aren't the floor plates wider..so he would have to have forced it in there no?:dunno:
