Lats are starting to lag because due to shoulder problems I cannot go heavy on incline bench... So at the moment, the standard lat pulldown and rows are just not cutting it. I want to add DB pullovers to my routine, but anything else that works good as well?

Barbell rows..but then, wouldn't that stress your shoulder as well?

    Pull ups?

I already do BB rows.... My shoulder is pretty ok with it actually. I do pull ups, lat pulldown, and bb rows, but my lats have started to shrink every since I stopped doing heavy inclines.

Looking for something that will kinda substitute for that and build my lats back up. I'm gonna try DB pull-overs tonight, so we'll see how that goes I guess.

Not entirely sure... but according to my doctor a ligament in my shoulder is not properly stretching with the movement of the shoulder and is putting pressure on the rotator cuff and pinching a nerve or something of that nature.

He really didn't explain it too well, but he said it is pretty common with people who spent a lot of time going really heavy with chest/shoulder work and do behind the head stuff.

There is not going to be a one solution fits all just like anything else.

There are a ton of exercises for your lats, you just gotta find what works.

    Pullups
    Fatman pullups
    DB rows
    Chest supported row
    BB row (varying grips)
    Cable lat exercises

Not as a direct workout, but going heavy on incline BB bench-press slams the lats pretty hard.

Anyways, a lot of you guys have absolutely no clue what the hell I am saying. I am not looking for an end-all-be-all solution to building lats. Just looking for some tips on other exercises to throw into my lat routine now that I am not hitting them through Incline BB press.

Either way, I added in 2 more sets of pull ups, 2 more sets of pulldowns, and 3 sets of pullovers. My lats are feeling pretty beat up, so I think i'm good.
