I take a cocktail of vitamins and supplements. Gives me tons of energy.

Try lecithin, complex vitamin Bs, multivits, DMAE, Co-Enzyme Q-10, Tryptophan, Alpha-Lipotic Acid... any of those should help... they all also have anti aging properties and increase energy

oh and don't be afraid to get a girlfriend. go out there and ask you pussy. i was like you, if you are THAT afraid then you should just write up your basic conversation on a peice of paper, as well as awnsers to 'how did you get my number' and other awkward questions, and phone her after a couple beer.

put your arm around her when you take her to the movies, and things seem to go fine from there...

don't be discouraged. i've never been rejected ever... but if I was, it would be after like 5 successes so I wouldnt give a shit...

Sounds like addiction, and depression are headed your way unless you make a positive change.

Don't take massive doses of antioxidant vitamins. They do work...too well that is.
Very high doses of antioxidants actually *increase* your cancer profile.

Reason being that your cells should naturally age and die and be replaced with new fresh healthy cells. Antioxidants actually work to keep cells around longer than they should.

The main ones to worry about are beta-carotene with vitamin A and/or E. These being fat-soluble are not excreted as readily as the water soluble ones (like C, B) so they stick around.

Just something to keep in mind.

If you want energy...exercise. Your appetite will increase, your metabolism will increase, your resistance to colds will increase, soon you'll be bouncing off the walls like an aryan ubermensch who's just spotted a hot jewess.

I would definitley go this route, I exercise in my room in the morning and sometimes at night if I can't get to school to use the gym. Im still a skinny mofo but I also understand if you don't want a girlfriend. I am a senior and any girlfriend I pick up now would be pointless they are all going back home or working elsewhere in the future, BUT this does not mean do not go out there and get pussy! Gotta get laid every now and then!

65% of the students procastrinate, and this is what basically is your problem.

    The solution is

Early To bed, early to rise. (simple?) give it a try :wavey:

Get a regular eating sleeping pattern that is parallel to the planet that you live on :) lol

    I do, a lot...

3 weeks ago I dislocated my shoulder in a bicycle accident so I stopped all weightlifting and stopped bike riding on trails, still average a good 8 miles a day though.

going to doctor on Friday for the third time. He doesn't suspect too much damage, but he has been good about making sure nothing too bad is wrong with the shoulder. He suspects there may have been some Rotator Cuff injury, we will find out tomorrow

    Really??

But there are many out there, specifically alpha lipotic acid and some others that remove free radicals. This prevents excess cells and shit from bouncing around and damaging DNA. this reduces cancer risk.

Maybe they cancel each other out? and if there is an excess of cells, can you explain to me why that would increase cancer risk? just because of more cells or what? i'm interested.

The mechanism isn't known for sure yet. Just some guesses about the specific action.

"A lot of people take vitamins because they believe it will benefit their health in the long term and prolong life," said Edgar R. Miller III, an associate professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, who led the research. "But our study shows that use of high-dose Vitamin E supplements certainly did not prolong life but was associated with a higher risk of death."

The following is basically a good guess at what the specific action might be. Remember that your body produces cancer cells every day, right now thousands of prostate cancer cells are floating around in your body, but you don't get prostate cancer (yet) because your body is also good at cleaning them out.

"Some studies are now suggesting that excessive use of antioxidant supplements may interfere with other nutrients or convert into pro-oxidants and become harmful. Of particular concern are studies that have found an increase in lung cancer and the overall mortality rate among smokers who took beta carotene supplements. A 2000 study further reported a higher risk for cancer in male smokers who took multivitamins plus A, C, or E. In determining reasons for this disturbing effect, one animal study suggested that beta carotene increased enzymes in the lungs that actually promote cancerous changes. And, even more worrisome, in people with existing cancer, high doses of antioxidant vitamins, such as vitamins A, C, E, or beta carotene, may actually protect cancer cells (just as they do healthy cells), including increasing their life span and resistance to anti-cancer treatments. In other words, antioxidants may actually be harmful in people who already harbor cancer cells."

Many people take large doses of antioxidant vitamin pills, even though there is little evidence that large doses of antioxidant pills prevent disease, and there is some evidence that they may cause disease. Does it bother you that taking large doses of beta carotene, which is vitamin A, increases risk for heart attacks in men and increase risk for lung cancer in smokers? Does it bother you that large doses of vitamin C do not prevent colon cancer, and do not prolong life in people with cancer? Other studies show that large doses of vitamin E do not prevent lung cancer, heart disease or stroke, or that large doses of selenium do not prevent cancer.

Last year, Barry Haliwell of the National University of Singapore wrote an article in the British medical journal, Lancet, explaining why large doses of antioxidant vitamins sometimes prevent cancer and sometimes cause it. Every chemical reaction in the body releases chemicals called free radicals that damage tissue, which releases certain metals into the cell fluid. Antioxidants convert these free metals, which are harmless, to powerful oxidants that cause further cell damage. So sometimes antioxidants protect cells and other times, they damage them. For example, paraquat is a powerful cancer-causing chemical. If you give vitamin C to animals before giving them paraquat, the vitamin C prevents cells damage and helps protect them from cancer, but if you give these same animals vitamin C after they take paraquat, the vitamin C spreads the cancer. The paraquat causes cells to release large amounts of minerals and the vitamin C then causes these minerals to damage cells and spread the cancer. For this reason and others, the American Cancer Society advises patients not to take large doses of vitamins A, E, C and selenium.

Another reason not to take large doses of antioxidant vitamins is that free radicals kill cancer cells. Rapidly multiplying cancer cells take up antioxidants and use them to protect the cancer cells from being destroyed by oxidants. So antioxidant vitamins can protect preexisting cancer cells from being damaged by oxidants, to spread the cancer. If you think we know all about antioxidants, you do not understand the tremendous controversy going on right now. You should get all the vitamins that you need from the food that you eat. If you want to take recommended dietary allowances of vitamins, go ahead, there is little evidence that you will harm yourself. However when you take large doses of any vitamin, you don't have the foggiest idea whether you are harming yourself and I do not recommend large doses of vitamins to anyone.
