This is Logitech's followup to the popular laptop mouse VX Revolution which I owned before the nano. There are some differences like the size of the nano is smaller and missing 2 side buttons, no battery display, and the nano is about 20% smaller when compared to the VX. However the biggest difference is the reason why I traded the VX revolution for the Nano and that is the size of the RF receiver. This thing is SMALLLLLL, it meant to be placed in a USB slot and never to be bothered again. Now for some pics:

The package comes with the mouse itself, RF receiver, USB extension cord (I have no idea why it came with it but I guess im not complaining), and a travel pouch.

The best thing about this mouse (except for the obvious RF receiver) is the scroll wheel. Anyone thats a die hard Excel fan MUST HAVE the new scroll wheel on this mouse. My desktop mouse is the MX revolution and i absolutely love that thing. For those that havent have a chance to use it, it allows for super fast scrolling with one flick of your finger and click by click scrolling for forum browsing. I can never go back to a regular scroll wheel ever again.

The tiny RF receiver does a great job, I do intend to leave it in there and never to bother with it again, however it can get caught on something and damage your USB port, however this is very unlikely.

In conclusion, the bluetooth mice out on the market are absolute CRAP. If you want a awesome mouse but disklike the huge RF receiver found on ALL portable mouse, then this one is for you. Just plug it into your USB port and never bother with it again, the only downside of it is you lose a USB port, however this shouldne be much of a problem since on a laptop, one is enough for most of us.

The mouse looks good, but just too small for me. I wish the Revolution had a similar usb adapter.

Kinda pricey...$70. And its made by logitech, you know its ergonomic. ;)

Im still trying to figure out how the hell you set the scroll wheel click-scroll instead of smooth scroll. I dont think the OSX drivers allows it to click scroll.

Just figure how to change from free spin to click-to-click. On the MX revolution you just flick the scroll wheel and it will automatically change from accurate click-to-click to free spin, however, on the VX nano you need to push down on the mouse. :o Im not sure I like it like that.
