is it bad to send my laptop through the xray at the airport
wait, does it produce ESD? or EMP? lol, no.
They're going to, or are already at, newer scanners that use
short waves sort of along the lines of microwaves.
It's been a while since I read up on it, so they probably have them in place now.
so its alright to send it through...?
I have sent mine through several times and never had a problem. Or did they just set it aside. I can't remember either way I put it in a bin and asked about it and they said it would be fine.
they've always sent mine through, if they set it aside, you will start seeing shoe bombs in laptops
They can xray mine to keep that from happening
they usually make you turn it on also, to prove that it's not a dummy. so make sure you have your battery charged
Holy crap you people have never traveled? I've taken it on dozens of flights. They DO put it through the machine, and it's FINE.
They don't do that anymore. I haven't had to do that since shortly after 9/11 actually.
