laptops and xray...

    They're going to, or are already at, newer scanners that use
    short waves sort of along the lines of microwaves.

    It's been a while since I read up on it, so they probably have them in place now.

    I have sent mine through several times and never had a problem. Or did they just set it aside. I can't remember either way I put it in a bin and asked about it and they said it would be fine.

    they've always sent mine through, if they set it aside, you will start seeing shoe bombs in laptops

    They can xray mine to keep that from happening

    they usually make you turn it on also, to prove that it's not a dummy. so make sure you have your battery charged

    Holy crap you people have never traveled? I've taken it on dozens of flights. They DO put it through the machine, and it's FINE.

    They don't do that anymore. I haven't had to do that since shortly after 9/11 actually.
