Laptop wont turn on:wtc:

    So I come home tonite and go to turn my laptop on and it wont turn on...What might have happened?Battery is in,its even plugged in:wtc:

    Pull the battery and AC power for about 10 minutes. Then plug it back in OR put the battery back in. One OR the other, NOT both. Try to boot the system after that. If that doesn't work, reverse the procedure.

    Ok,Ill just leave them out when I go to work.When I get home I will try it,if it doesnt work,well im comin back to ask some more questions

    it looks like it is time to visit your local Apple Sotre and get that taken care of. The turn around is fast as hell so you won't be without it for long.

    Unfortunately, it sounds to me like it is a hardware problem. I'd take it to an Apple store and see what they say. If its not software, which leaving it completely without power should have hopefully dealt with, it's probably going to be expensive. :hs:

    I dont know where theres an apple store around here...Ill have my dads friend look at it before I take it somewhere to pay to see whats wrong with it.

    If you have a G3/G4 iBook it's probably an issue with the logic board, I just had mine replaced a few weeks ago.
