what does OT recommend that fits this criterion?

    Light < 5lbs
    Durable
Able to do office productivity software
15" screen or less preferably, widescreen a plus, but not necessary.
    Good battery life
Internal WiFi and all that jazz.
Don't care about being able to play directx games
    Quiet fans

That thinkpad does look sexy, but no touchpad? I thought that was standard on everything by now.

Dell XPS... They just came out with the 1330 I believe. I bought the M1210 last year and I love it. We have a couple more XPS's at work and everyone loves them.

no, I have to repair many dell problems. They have not fixed their issues of years past.

same with toshiba, hp, compaq, and sony... Build a crappy machine, give it a blue led and a unique texture and sell them for high profit.

x series thinkpads do not have a standard touchpad to reduce size.

I test numerous laptops every year and from what your requesting, I would say a T series from Lenovo is your best bet.

No. You just spew random shit on how some brand is just  and some other one is :ugh: Just pull random facts out of your ass? Nothing to back up any claim that you post about, that is why I post that.
