Laptop Recommendation Needed: Powerful, light-weight, DVDRW.....

    Also, the client wants enough space so he can edit his 8mm film to DVD and has lots of 8mm film. He's basically a vice-president who doesn't know much about computers so he needs something simple yet powerful for the films and presentations, etc.

    Any recommendations? Money isn't a huge issue, but try to keep it around $3,000.

    damn 3k? that's a nice budget!!! :bigthumb:

    either top of the line powerbook or top of the line thinkpad. Supposedly the ibook is a bit more durable then the powerbook though, So that might be something that has to be taken into consideration. Both are extremely nice laptops in my opinion.
