got a new laptop. its mainly going to be left on my desk, but I got it to take on trips, instead of just getting a regular cpu.

is it ok to leave is plugged in to the wall all the time? I know this sounds like a stupid question, but I thought I heard something about it will mess up the battery, and that maybe I needed to take the battery out if I left it plugged in all the time.

anybody heard anything like this, run into any problems leaving their laptop plugged in all the time?

Your laptop should run solely off of AC power once the battery is fully charged. Thus leaving it plugged up will not affect the battery, besides perhaps the heat generated by leaving it on. However, I wouldn't plug it directly into the wall; use a UPS of some sort.
