    just buy a new laptop

you can get an EEE PC for like $400-500, or get a Dell Mini Inspiron (or whatever it's called) when they come out (hopefully very soon)

if you want to try to fix it yourself, i've been able to fix various logic boards with bad liquid spills by disconnecting everything, washing the affected areas down with rubbing alcohol, making sure all the residue is off, giving it a day to dry, then hooking it back up.

if you didn't actually fry anything during the spill, it should work. usually water spills screw up electronics just bc they leave residue behind.
