I have an inspiron 5150 and someone was kind enough to rip off one of my keys. The plastic thing the sits below the actual key is broke on one side of it but the key still attaches. I have to press on the key with straight pressure because any side pressure will cause the key to pop off.

Anyway, your options are to order a key assembly replacement from Dell (they supposedly sell those little plastic pieces) or buy a new keyboard on ebay for ~$35.
