Going home for Christmas this week for a few weeks and I'll only have my laptop, so what are some good laptop friendly games I can play?

Graphics isn't a problem, just has to be track-pad friendly :hs:

I could bring my mouse BUT I'm pretty much confined to using a TV tray when I'm there and since my laptop is fucking huge there's no room for a mouse :o

Easy games to pick up and put down quickly.

    Civilization 4
Trackmania is great and runs well on most laptops and doesn't use the trackpad.
    Sim City will eat time

I played plants vs zombies on a netbook... but I'm not sure that's a good idea.

Emulators are always fun to muck around with if you don't have a mouse.

also, you can buy one of those small mouses and use it on part of the laptop where you rest your right arm (should be room).

Empire: Total War, Supreme Commander, or if you can adjust the sensitivity of your mouse you can make do with the tray and expand your options.

you should install software for a wireless laser mouse. being able to use mouse on any surface > mousepad.

age of empires 2. i actually play better with a track pad over mouse.

roller coaster tycoon should be pretty good as well. no need to scroll quickly in those kinds of games.

Borderlands can be do-able with track-pad, though a mouse is better
    Gyromancer
    Civilization
    Sim City

And emulators for games from the pre-PS2 era (hell, you can get like every SNES, NES, and Genesis game ever made and only have it take up like 20 gigs all-together).

I never said it was easy mind you. I used Lilith a lot and whenever things were about to hit the fan I'd go invisible, drop aggro, retreat and recover shields before returning to cap some asses.

But with any of the other characters, yeah, you're better off using an actual mouse for Borderlands. And you were asking for good games for a laptop in general; there's tons of cheap, small and portable mouses out there so you can stick it in your backpack or laptop bag and not have it be a problem.

the white ships DESTROY me too quickly..

the jump in item level is ridonkulous..the next level stuff rips through the lower stuff too easily..

im in mostly light/dark blue..and the white takes out half my ship in one shot lol.
