laptop assembly guide site?

    i've been searching for way too long on how to dissassemble my new laptop (asus v1s) so i can add RAM....

    anyone know where i can find resources on this?

    you sure it's not a small door on the bottom with one or two screws? Ram in a laptop is usually super easy.

    i am 100% sure its a small door but there are no screws, there is a pannel stuck next to it with screws but two are marked with something that looks like "K>" which i think means you also have to unscrew from teh other side??? which would mean i'd have to take off the keyboard too. i cant figure it out. shit, i replaced the cpu/mb fan in my sony but i cant do this :/

    This is a guess based on the drawing for your laptop. In person they're a lot easier to figure out. Try this:

    Some laptops like mine have one RAM slot under a cover on the bottom and one under the keyboard.

    And yes, K means keyboard.
