Yea, that would be my question too, but I imagine that Glock looked at the ammo first before offering the new trigger bars. At least I'd hope so.

Probably cheaper to send that $10 part than to shoot a bunch of ammo:o

Glocks are nice, but they are the biggest bunch of bullshitters out there:o

The Oregon PD wouldn't let Glock inspect the guns they claimed kB either. Glock offered to fly reps out there and examine the weapons, they refused. They were also using Federal ammo, which was known to have problems, at the time the incident occurred.

As for the LAPD problem, it doesn't sound like a trigger bar problem. The light strikes on Glocks are usually caused by overlubing and crap being in the striker channel, or a worn striker spring from use.

Also, if you use dummy rounds, the pin can shave some of the plastic off and cause a malfunction.

lol, ALL guns have problems, especially when mishandled

Glock owners are just more butthurt and sensitive about it than other people :dunno:

after all..... glock = perfection :noes:

P.S. my XD still has no rust, has digested every bullet ive fed it, and no FTF's and tight 3-4" groupings from 25-50 ft :mamoru:

the kimber does shoot better though :o

I was thinking maybe a hard primer issue, or a striker obstruction issue myself.

Out of my mind, brb never.
Im not suprised its the LAPD with issues either. Considering they have ~9,000 officers, that of which probably 2-3k are carrying the Glock. Its no suprise that there are some issues with it showing up.

It could have been a number of things.

It'll be fun hearing all the glock guys make up excuses though and say "At least they don't rust":mamoru:

I'd rather have a gun blow off my hand or not fire when I pull the trigger than get a little surface rust on the slide... :mamoru:

its no secret that glocks are designed to go through major abuse, and rarely malfunction. everyone that hates glocks , knows what they are capable of, they just usually cant get past the looks or feel so they start hating on them.

xd-glock knockoff, good handgun, great ergos, but its still a glock knockoff
