A&P Lame attempt @ Northern Lights

    I am a total nube to photography and this is the first time I've seen the northern lights. There was a bunch of ambient light from a street lamp and they look really grainy and probably out of focus, but oh well. I rushed. Sony DSC-V1. What are some tips for shooting at night?

    looks photoshop like...needs ground for give a sense of setting

    longer exposure, lower iso... get away from the lamp

    wow, that was great engrish...I meant to say it needs ground to give us a sense of setting
