lack of progress first 1-2 weeks of cutting.

    am I the only one here? Once I start cutting, logging calories, etc I notice that my body measurments and weight almost go up for the first week or two. After that I start dropping weight, does this happen to anyone else...anyone know why? Is it just water retention or what.

    I didn't lose any my first week and then started dropping

    On a more serious note, I have bad weeks too, I think it's water weight when I have a few tough weeks trying to cut.

    I had great luck with the lunchable diet though. Dropped 30 lbs in a couple months on it!

    So far 1 week on this cut process . Maybe 1 lb weight different . . Im doing cardio 3x's a week. In the gym 5 days a week. and eating 6 meals a day, high protein , low carbs, low fat. Logging eveything. Oh well I hope it picks up soon . . . . If not cutdiet :rofl:

    does this sound right for a cut?
    Im supose to be limiting my carbs.
    I did my week so far of anaysis on fitday.com

    Im averaging:
    2000-2100 calories.
    50-60 grams of fat.
    150-170 grams of carbs.
    200-225 grams of protein

    Btw, im 6'0, 238 lbs.

    Happens to me sometimes. Usually need a few days for my body to adjust before the weight starts dropping.

    Weight loss isn't necessarily linear. Just be patient :wavey:

    it doesn't bother me, its just how my body works. I was just curious why it happends.

    in a BFI container down an alley
    dont even bother looking for real changes until week 4-5..jesus guys give it time. I diet for 16 weeks and i start leaner then most of you.
