Lack of energy/focus in gym(came off creatine)

    OT brolies, I took creatine powder & PWO drinks(superpump250) for 3 months during the summer.

    I have not taken neither for the past 6 weeks and for the last 3 weeks I cant seem to finish my workout. Take db press for example: I did around 3 x 8, struggling with the last one but now I do a set of 8 with the same weight and during the 2nd set, I would just not feel like going on at all and completely lose my strength. So it goes 1x8x55, 1x3x55, then a 3rd set of 45lb where I can barely do 5 reps. And overall just in the gym I feel lethargic. I have no trouble going to the gym but after around 20 mins I just want to gtfo. It used to be I have to force myself to leave within 90 mins.

    What should I do? Workout less often? (I currently go 4 times a week) or go more often but work on only a few lifts? I dont mind taking creatine but I dont want to be dependable on it.

    edit: I tried drinking some coffee before workout but that didnt really help much.

    Ok.. so I didnt' know what PCT was and I looked it up. PCT = Post cycle therapy right? I didnt know it was necessary for creatine???? Most of the search results are for creatine use after test cycling.. I am just a weakfuck and dont use steroids...

    I am taking nothing(besides multi vitamin) and whey here and there. Do I really need Clomid or whatever?

    I really fucking hope you used the following throughout your SuperPump250 cycle:

    Nolvadex
    Clomid
    HCG
    Arimidex
    Pramipexole
    Cabergoline

    otherwise you brought it upon yourself. I dont feel sorry for you. do your homework before fucking with something like that.

    creatine increases your lifting endurance. When i take it, i am stronger on my second set than my first, and then a little weaker on the last set. When I (you) stop taking it, the second set is fairly harder than the first.

    Either start taking creatine again, or accept that your strength endurance won't be as high, and still workout like a beast. Compare your progress without creatine vs your previous workouts without creatine.

    However, it shouldn't have any affect WHATSOEVER on your focus, just your strength endurance. thats all in your head.

    sounds like a case of a dude who needs to learn how to connect with his body and get every single bit of energy out of yourself before getting under the bar.

    seriously man you gotta learn how to flip the switch and get into workout mode. whatever gets you there. it doesnt take supps to get jacked up. for me i just gotta know what to think about ... just think for a few minutes.. get in the zone, then i get a crazy adrenaline rush and boom im good to go. whatever it takes man. dont workout just going through the motions. you need to be amped up

    Thanks. I knew I would lose some gains but thought it would be being able to lift less max weight not being drastically on a 2nd set. :o

    What helps me is to put some really pumping music on, to think about all the things that have happened wrong against me, think about all the bad things that people did to me, and then think about how this lift will get me jacked. Think about how nobody will mess with you. Think about your health, your life, your family, your life expectancy, how big you'll be. Just run everything thru your head, & then ask yourself if an extra 20-45 minutes is "worth it" or if you should really leave after 20.
