Well I went and had my Labret done Sept 1st, so about 3 weeks ago. This morning I woke up and there seems like there is a growth on the inside of my lip near the base, almost like my skin wants to grow over the base of it. I am not sure if this is my body rejecting this - or what I can do to help the inside heal a bit better.

I read that the sea salt soaks (which I really never did) will help this go away and completely heal. Is this true? Anything else I should do to help this heal? The outside appears to be healed quite nicely, but that inside is kind of worrying me.

It's called "nesting" and is a common thing to happen with labrets. You don't want to let that skin grow over it. You can pick up a product called Amosan (from Oral B) that will help with the healing.
