    What's it about? Doesn't seem like it has anything to do with the Death Note.

    The Death Note is in the movie for like 20 seconds and that's in the very beginning. The movie takes place right after the second movie. Kira is dead and L only has 23 days left to live. L takes on one last case before he dies.

    Nope, the only thing related to Death Note is the actual book at the beginning and the fact that L is in it. Other than that, its almost completely unrelated to Death Note series.

    I watched the first 20 minutes and turned it off. The acting is bad and, hell, everything is bad. And this is coming from someone who loved the anime.
