Anyone else looking forward to this movie? It's by Stephen Chow, the same guy who did Shaolin Soccer, and apparently it's been tearing up the Asian box office. I've heard a lot of people say it's a really enjoyable movie.

I was laughing like crazy when I watched Shaolin Soccer, and it sounds like a lot of you guys who have seen Kung Fu Hustle think it's as good or better. For those that have seen it, why is it so good?

Saw this a couple of months ago. One of my favourite movies of the past 12 months. It has a great mix of comedy and action. The story is told quite well and the characters are really likeable. It's a film that could have flopped because of the style it is, but it's very unique. Very very funny I thought and the kung fu rocked.

When I first heard about this movie, and thought about what an improved version of Shaolin Soccer would be like, I envisioned the same thing you're describing, a perfect mix of action and comedy. I've seen great reviews so far, and yesterday Rotten Tomatos had it at 88% fresh.

Pretty funny and I liked the "ordinary" heroes.

Great characters & I like that it was funnier than most Kung Fu movies.

Just saw this movie and wanted to bump an awesome movie. I came in and expected the worst because I never saw shaolin soccer. I think a critic out it best when he said that you've seen all of this before, just not put together in this way.
