What do you guys think of this camera?

My dad was deciding between the KM Maxxum 7D, Nikon D70, Canon EOS-300D, and Canon EOS-20D...and ended up picking the Maxxum 7D mainly because of the built-in Anti-shake feature.

I don't know much about DSLR's as I've only used P&S digicams before. I prefer Canon's and his favourite is Nikon, so I found it weird how he went for the KM instead.

    Thanks for any input.

I love mine. Very nice camera, great sensor low noise at 1600 and not to bad at 3200 (very noticable but still pretty damn good).
    Body is built very well.
Menus are set up good, and for most things that you will change on a regular basis (white balance, ISO, etc) all have a or a dial.
I believe your dad will be very happy with it.
The viewfinder is very bright, Minolta made focus screens for haselbald and designed the focus system for the H1.

I think it's a better camera than either of those. But the Olympus E-1 is still my favorite. That however does not have anti-shake
