My LS443 is unrepairable according to the woman on the phone at Kodak (after only 2 years the lens is jammed). So, she said that I can send in my inop camera and for $125
they will replace it with a "refurbished" DX7630. This camera is a 6MP and reviews quite well.http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/kodak/dx7630-review/index.shtml (Yes I know it's just a Kodak and nothing special but I'm no professional photographer either.)
Is this a good deal? It's definitely an upgrade from the LS443.
Should I worry about buying a refurbished camera?

Just make sure you get some kind of manufacturer warranty on it and you should be fine :dunno:

Yeah, as long as you get a decent warranty on a refurbrished product you should be good.

I agree. If it has a warranty, sure, why not. but if you can, dump kodak and get a better camera.
