Full size Benchmade griptillian. Has the best lock on the market (axis), Benchmade quality, and will not break the bank account.

Something in S30V..... That stuff is amazing.

You could be a balla and get a Microtech.

For the price and quality, go SOG. Just stay away from their fusion line (budget knives and it shows)

I'm a fan of Griptilians as well. Solid knives, and reasonable cost.

I just fixed my 941 finally. Went through the wash and the blade rusted a little, pitting the copper washers on both side of the blade.
I usually look for stuff to keep me busy at work when nothing is broke and had some time to take it apart and clean it. Works almost like new

    +1 for Benchmade

I have a 942-S that has served me well for 5+ years.

We need a sticky thread for these knife questions, every time one is asked everyone just posts the same thing.

    Make one. :bigthumb:

Where do you guys buy your knives? There was a thread in the main forum that had some online retailers. Was purged though.

A clear Microtech? Do want. I'm scared to ask how much it costs, though.

Anything from Benchmade is going to be a solid knife, aside from the Red series. Kershaw also makes decent stuff, as does Spyderco.
