Hey all, I have been running at least 3 or 4 times a week for a while now. In the beginning I used to get shin splints, and or my ankles and knees would be sore for a while. Probably cause of the shitty roads I run on which are like little hills. But for for a few months now I have been feeling great, no problems at all. Until this week. I started adding sprints into my 2 mile runs a few weeks back and felt ok, but this week I must have hurt my knees, but mostly my right one. I felt good after the run, but went up my stairs and my knee felt funny, kinda like it cramped up or something, and it hurt to extend or contract it, the same thing happened to my other knee a few days later. I tried staying off of it for a few days, and it felt allright, but when I started running again it still felt weird. Kinda like a tightness and a sharp pain when I step a certain way or put pressure on it a certain way. I started running and wearing a knee brace, which helps, but when I take it off, or sometimes even if I dont, it still feels weird. Anyone know whats wrong? Sorry if I am being vague, this has never happened to me before and its kinda hard for me to describe. I would appreciate any replies or remedies, thanks.
