This one's about Alfred Kinsey, the man who did sex studies in the 50s (I think) when sex was a taboo topic. He showed that masturbation, premarital sex and homosexuality were common among men and women. He was largely ostracized as being immoral at the time, but it is his studies that form the idea that homosexuals make up about 10% of society.

Not a bad movie... It could have been about 20 minutes shorter.
It's worth it for the naked shots of Peter Saarsgard. He's a cutie... :o

Plus, I learned quite a bit about Kinsey.

I was wondering if his homosexuality came up...or am I thinking of Masters of Masters and Johnson? One or both of them was gay or bi and was said to influence his studies (influence such as overstimating the % of gays)...pretty sure it was K.

the scale was interesting. maybe it will enlighten some people and encourage others to be more open about how they feel.

As a correction it was the early 1930s =-) The woman book I think came out in the 40s though. Something like that.
