    and getting a WJ. Possibly a 5.9.

I'd like something kinda nice that i can still lift up a little, and most importantly, tow a car.

get a trailer for the Elise, and tow it to the track. The YJ won't cut it.

what are 5.9's going for these days? Were they made available in White?

dude, seriously, buy a mid 90s Chevy Silverado or something for towing. Or if you can swing it, a newer Ford. How often are you really going to be towing?

hopefully at least once a week. If i'm spending a grip on a car that's going to see the track more than the street, and i get free tracktime, i'll be going down there as often as possible. :o

hmmm.... I'd just find an older truck, they are cheap and you'll have a vehicle with a bed and shit to haul things. Keep the heep... or sell it to me cheap as a project jeep :x:

speaking of trailers, where is a good place to find tow/vehicle trailers? avg price?

personally, if i were looking for an older truck, i'd get one of these if it were just for towing and such.

I've got a '94 Suburban with that motor/tranny, and it has abou 260k on the originals, never rebuilt. It has never been in the shop for anything, ever. I put an alternator, all maintenance, and an a/c compressor. That's the only things it's needed, they're amazing. After '95, they kinda went to crap with the introduction of the Vortec, and something they changed on the transmissions.

For what you need, a ZJ 5.9 Limited will be hard to beat.

    www.autotrader.com

There always seems to be quite a few for sale in the midwest where we live.

If you really want a 5.9 your gonna have to get a ZJ. The WJ's dont come with the 5.9. They have the 4.7 and the 4.7 HO.

    I love my Dub
