Anyone watch this yet? I highly recommend this!

It's on my top 10 list. Fun anime to watch, but incredibly sad.

    From Anime News Network:
Plot Summary: At first, Takayuki Narumi is befriended by Mitsuki Hayase only because Mitsuki's best friend, Haruka Suzumiya has a crush on him; however since then, Takayuki, his pal Shinji Taira, and Mitsuki have grown to be the best of friends. Then one day, Haruka confesses to Takayuki her love for him. Not wanting to hurt her feelings, Takayuki agrees to go out with her. After a few incidents, their relationship gets intimate, even while Takayuki and Mitsuki begin to realize their feelings for each other. But suddenly, when tragedy strikes, things are never the same for these four friends again.

Kimi ga isn't bad. Its pretty much an animated soap opera, but its done really well. Its not Saikano-makes-you-want-to-kill-yourself sad, but its a tear jerker!

Yea it's pretty fucking depressing, it is definately a more adult anime, as far as the themes are concerned. It's an animated Soap in the extreme tho, it was really messed up some of the stuff that happened just so the story could unfold. Im with you JP it did kinda throw me into a depression(at least the moments I was watching it did ), I watched it around the same tiem as I watched Gunslinger Girls(another anime with a not so great ending).

At least you weren't coming down off some X, cause that by itself is almost enough to make you want to end it :eek3:

Yeah, It's an anime where you can really understand the feelings of the main character. Relationships can really ruin ones life, or make it great.

I watched it all in a day, and i couldn't really get out of a slump for the next day or so. It kept making me think about life, and what i really want to do. Pretty rough stuff.

hahaha. Plus, it gives you the idea that if you don't go after it, you'll never know what could've happened. Even if it turns out bad, you now know for sure, rather than you later on in life regretting you didn't do anything about it.

I've noticed that about a LOT of anime,I dont why that is bc there are a lot of ppl in College in Japan, they place a HUGE importance on education.
