MMA Kicking form question *vid* Muay thai

    In Muay thai, is this considered good form?

    Looks similar to another vid recently posted here. I'm not used to seeing the knee and foot point downward and inward like that. :cool:

    looks similar to the kicks in the Glaube Feitosa Highlight.

    don't know if it's good form, though it seems to be a wicked thing if you can pull it off.

    its a angled kick.

    they land on the neck instead of the head. good KO shit.

    its like you aim with your knee and then turn the hip over and WHACK your foot goes where you were pointing.

    nice kick. hard to pull off at full speed sometimes. lots of practice.

    Ohh ok, i wasn't sure if that was a properly executed basic kick or a fancy one.

  5. It's very good form. You want to turn the leg and kick downwards to prevent it from snapping at the shin. Usually when guys break their legs kicking it's because they are swinging their legs up and not using their body. You want to step into the kick and kick through the body/tree as well. Look at the low kick video for a good demonstration
