Kicker... Yay or Nay???

    Well i stoppped by Hi Fi Buys (aka Tweeter)last night to ask a few questions and the guy kept reccommending Kicker Comp VR subs and matching amps. What do you guys think of them???

    My brother's friend has one, I don't care for it too much. I think it was too expensive for what it is.

    Quite frankly my experience has been to not listen to the salesman when buying audio equipment, he either is making a subjective reccomendation, or has a lot of overstock of the product, or makes a lot of profit off of it.

    Yes, just got a SL7 Solobaric 12" myself and a Kicker amp. Sounds amazing

    both are great subs but the VRs are god for the money

    vtec1994 you need to make a trip down to Gleenwood flee market on I-285 or Candler Road Flee Market theve got tons of shit. My friends and buy little stuff from their wire, blocks etc......I think some over their stuff is stollen tho :dunno: They sell RF Audiobahn Kicker all the mainstream crap.

    my friend has 2 older solobaric round 12s with just a really old rf "100" watt amp, we're thinkin its over 450 at 1 ohm and they shook his taillights loose...in sealed boxes, they get loud. i personally like the subs. Loud and sound nice.
