keyboard usb slots are fucking useless

    I've yet to plug anything into my keyboard usb slot that actually gets enough power, except for the mouse.

    what, the, fuck. :madfawk:

    it can't even handle a usb flash stick :ugh:

    yes, the keyboard is plugged directly into the computer, not a hub.

    yeah, it sucks. could you plug a powered hub into a usb keyboard slot?

    I haven't had any problems with them, although I don't try to use them much.

    my flash drive works in them. imac before the current ones (all white)

    May also want to note that up until the newest Mac keyboards (the new slim one) the ports on the keyboard are all USB 1.1

    i'm on the old one right now, but I'm getting the new one for christmas :x:

    I use one for Mouse and the other is either the Logic Pro Dongle or the iKey for Protools plugins.

    maybe only plug in powered devices instead of ones that need power from the USB port itself?
