I have a win2k Pro system here a user was typing away when the letter/number keys and space bar stopped working (all other keys, backspace, enter, tab, caps, shift kept working). Initial thoughts were that the PS2 Keyboard and/or port were going bad. I reboot the computer and the keyboard started working again. I decided to go ahead and replace the old keyboard with a new (Brand New) USB keyboard.

The user was working for about 5 minutes and the same thing happened with the new keyboard.

Anyone have any clues as to what is going on here? Is it possessed by the super devil? :eek3:

StickyKeys was not turned on... This is starting to look like an OE issue. I looked at the box that the user was typing into and it looks like they were puting the wrong info in. the box is limited to 6 didgits and she was trying to type in a persons full name... :eek4:
