I bought a cheap Micro Innovations 650i keyboard. I installed it using its own PS/2 port and recently wanted to convert it to a USB port. After switching the adapter I plugged it in and then my computer wouldn't recognize it. I searched for a driver, downloaded and installed it, but alas no help there. The stupid thing still wouldn't work? Any ideas on what happened?

If not I'll just shell out 30 bucks for a decent USB keyboard.....

Why not just use it as ps/2? Does it really matter?

Have you tried rebooting with it plugged in?
