It's only on the state level. Illinois is a failure of a state anyway. Still flood his email and switchboard with calls.

Proof that the author of this bill is part of an obama controlled gun grabbing conspiracy?

Bad anti-gun legistlation is introduced all the time, in both pro-gun states and especially in anti-states. To see it and go "obamazzz!!!" just makes it seem to me like you have no connection to reality.

You can't deny the anti-gunners are charged by Obama's election. They feel emboldened now. I think you'll see the stupidest of shit pop up on the state and federal levels. Stuff that will make you think of the Clinton and Bush years as the "good ol' days".

Stupid bills popped up all the time during the last 8 years. California passed microstamping for example.

Just look at the track record of Illinois politicians. I think this clown, and all of his peers, should be required to carry massive insurance against "negligent or willful acts" performed while in office.

Chicago is nothing more than a micro dictatorship. And it's tyranny radiates outward. The Chinese would be doing us a favor if they nuked the place.

    Is this what you meant??

Honestly, if gun rights are one of your top concerns, then I would just avoid living in places like California, New York, or Illinois.
