    So that gives us:

Los Angeles Anacondas - Bas Rutten
    Toronto Dragons - Carlos Newton
New York Pitbulls - Renzo Gracie
    Columbus Razorclaws - Frank Shamrock
    Tokyo Sabres - Ken Yasuda
Quad City Silverbacks - Pat Miletich
Seattle Tiger Sharks - Maurice Smith
    Portland Wolfpack - Matt Lindland
Northern California Lions - Ken Shamrock
Southern California Piranhas - Marco Ruas
    Arizona Scorpions - Don Frye

British Bulldogs - Ian Freeman (2008 season)

I still think Jeremy Horn will be one of the 12 2007 season coaches. I bet that is who they announce. I also assume by 2008 they expand to 16 coaches for a full bracket.

And I just realized that Dec 29 is the IFL World Team Championship Finals, Dec 30 is UFC 66: Liddell vs Ortiz 2, and Dec 31 is Pride Shockwave 2006!

    :eek5:

this is the first i had heard anything about this..... so i gather it will be similar to the Real Pro Wrestling league they tried last year? A member of the team represents each weight class?

sounds interesting and with some big name coaches it could draw some real attention.

so how much actual coaching do these coaches do?

I know Bas really coaches and corners his team. They don't train together all the time, but they do put in some time before the events.

I find it dissapointing that the Toronto team isn't made up of all Ontario folk, if not all Canadian folk.

Yeah..I wish the teams for the IFL would just be actual groups made up from already existing teams

They have a Miletich and Lindland team, which works..but it would have been cool to see a Team Tompkins team, ATT team, etc..

although I know Chris Horodecki fights for Bas' team
