    got this in an email, pretty cool stuff:

    Carbine Classifier
    Designer; KEN Hackathorn
    Type: Scored, Limited Vickers.
    Each point down in score equals one second
    Targets: 3 IDPA silhouettes, spaced 2 yds apart. T1 6’, T2 4’, & T3 5’ height
    Rounds: 90
    Range: 20, 30, 40 yards.

    Procedure: PHASE I 20 Yards
    1. Shooter starts with two magazines, one of 25 rounds and one of 5 rounds.
    Carbine/AK is first loaded with 25 round magazine ,round in chamber, safety on, finger straight and muzzle at low ready.
    On signal, fire two rounds at each target while moving forward. All 6 Rounds must be fired by the time the shooter reaches the 15 yard line.
    2. Shooter starts at 15 yard line lined up on T1(left silhouette). On signal move laterally to the right firing one shot at each target, then move back to the left firing one shot at each target. Total of 6 rounds (all rounds must
    be fired while moving).
    3. Shooter centers up on T2 (middle silhouette) and on signal begins backing up and firing 2 rounds on each target.
    4. Shooter loads with magazine of 5 rounds (total of 6 rounds in weapon)and places magazine that was in the weapon in a carrier or pouch that is normally used for spare ammo carry. At 20 yards start with back to targets. On signal, pivot keeping muzzle in the one meter ‘bubble’ and engage each target with two rounds, reload and fire two more rounds
    on each target. (Carbine ‘Presidente’) Shooter should now have 2 empty magazines……1 in the weapon, and one on the ground.
    Score and paste targets. Each target should have 10 hits. Misses equal 5 seconds per miss.

    PHASE II 30 Yards
    Shooter starts with 2 magazines, 1 with 28 rounds and 1 with 2 rounds.
    Begin with 28 round mag in the gun. Start, loaded, gun on safe, finger straight, and muzzle depressed.
    On signal, engage T1 with 2 rounds to the body, and 1 round to the head.
    Same as above, but on T2
    Same as above, but on T3
    On signal, fire 2 rounds on each target , HEAD SHOTS ONLY. (total of 6)
    Start with Carbine at weak side shoulder (safety may be off). On signal Fire 1 round on each target (body). Total 3 rounds. Remove magazine in the gun and replace with 2 round mag. Place Removed magazine in pouch or carrier for reload. Start with back To targets, on signal pivot and fire 1 round on each target, reload and Fire one more round on each target. (total of 6)
    On signal, fire 1 round at each target, take a knee (go kneeling)and fire 1 more round at each target.. (total of 6). Weapon should be empty
    Move forward and score/paste targets. NOTE there should be 3 hits In each head, and 7 hits in each body.

    PHASE III 40 yards
    Start with one magazine of 18 rounds, one magazine of 12. Begin with mag of 18 in gun. Start behind barricade (Bianchi or PPC barricade). On signal, engage each target with 2 rounds in tactical order ( as they come into view) then switch sides and SHOULDER and engage each target again with 2 more rounds. Total of 12. NOTE right side-right
    Shoulder…..Left side –left shoulder. USE barricade for cover.
    Start behind barricade, on signal engage each target in tactical order from shooters choice of side with 2 rounds each, reload behind cover DO NOT leave cover unless weapon is loaded with moving parts forward and ready to fight
    with…..move forward to the 35 yard line and take a kneeling position behind 55 gallon barrel engaging each target again with 2 rounds.
    Start standing behind 35 yard 55 gallon barrel. On signal, go to a knee and engage each target with 2 rounds from the cover of the barrel from the opposite shoulder that you
    just used in the previous 6 rounds.
    Weapon should be empty. Move forward score and paste
    Each target should have 10 hits.
    Scoring: Limited Vickers. No extra shots. Time for each stage plus however many points down added as seconds.

    PASS/FAIL is under 215 seconds is Pass, over is Fail.
    Good is 175 seconds or less
    Really good is 150 seconds or less

    Sounds fun and easy to set up cept for the barrel and barricade
