It's like a smaller, cheaper FiveseveN!
It would be a cool critter killer.
I just saw it's a 30 round mag too, so it's got more capacity than the fiveseven too.
i'll stick with my MK III
Retail $410. I'd imagine it will be on the shelves for $375 or so. I like Kel-Tec if you take them for what they are, affordable service pistols. They stand behind their products with a lifetime warranty. I have a pistol in for warranty service right now.
I have a P22. Variety is the spice of life.
Anyone know the price?
*edit* Apparently I'm posting to slow to beat the answer...
Saw this the other day on another forum. For some reason I want one really bad. Looks like it'd be a fun gun to take on a walk in the woods for some plinking. I was hoping price would be closer to $300 though.
If it functions well it looks like an excellent beat around gun for killing small critters.
Oh shit.... That's cool.
I'm not a kel tec hater, and could roll one of those.
Goddammit...... I was looking at this thing on my phone, and thought it WAS chambered in 5.7. Get a chance to do a little more research, and find out it's a fucking 22mag.
Gay. Would have been cooler if it was really a 5.7.
oh wait, no 30 rounders for me
...and more lethal
Wow, I kinda want that.
Want! I've got a marlin .22mag bolt action rifle, never had anything that uses regular .22lr ammo, this pistol would be perfect for me.
Don't understand whu they didn't do it in 22lr and really stir up some shit. What is the price of 22 mag nowadays anyway?
Or this. 22mag just doesn't make much sense to me either. 17HMR would be plausibly interesting. 5.7 would be neat if it could be reloaded without the headaches of the FN platform.
Shit's almost $20 for 50, for the VMax bullets (which are decent), and can't obviously be reloaded.
This would be a lot of fun full auto like a G18 or a Mauser M712 Schnellfeuer
I was somewhat impressed with their customer service. The front sight blade on my sub-2000 broke soon after I got it. It was nearly impossible to find an email address, but once they did they just asked for my serial number and the part number, and shipped it immediately.
I'm most impressed with my guns that haven't needed to be sent in for service
Its not a gun I need but I bet it'll sell faster than they make them.
I wonder if using a non-reloadable platform was intentional from a liability standpoint given the less forgiving nature of 5.7 on reloads.
Would make sense, probably why they also aren't doing a 17HMR version.
I was under the impression that the potential maladies associated with 5.7 (which I will admit I am not hugely up on) were more based of the design of the FiveseveN pistol itself, vs the case proper.
Also not the 5.7 expert here but my understanding was among other things setting the brass is really worked hard and noobs often don't get the shoulder back in spec.
Also with the relatively poor terminal ballistics of 5.7 I think it all but begs people to try to load some fireballs to make up for it in their blowback gun.
What the available to the average varmint blaster of .22 magnum vs 5.7 too? I assume walmart stocks .22 mag
hah. I was fucking right.
